THE COMPANY

McGregor Construction (Highlands) Ltd operate out of the city of Inverness, Highland and town of Fort William, Lochaber.
This provides us with the logistics to contract within the vast geographical area of the Highlands & Islands of Scotland.

The origins of the company were established in Inverness over 132 years ago (1877 - Campbell Construction) and in Lochaber some 41 years ago (John G McGregor) with McGregor Construction (Highlands) Ltd being formed in 1977.

Success has been founded on the ability of our established human resources to construct a quality product throughout the range of construction sectors & differing methods of procurement.

ACTIVITIES

The diverse nature of the Highland economy means that our activities in public / private works cover the entire spectrum of construction market sectors.

In the main, traditional competitive tenders and negotiated contracts emanating from both established and new clients are undertaken. Develop, design and build lead contracts have also contributed to our success.

TURNOVER AND PROFIT

For the years ending January 2009, 08 & 07 turnover was £10.38, £11.5 & £13.8 million respectively. Turnover for the current year will be in the region of £9.5 million.
The company has consistently returned annual profits.

QUALITY AND COMMITMENT

The company has a sound reputation with clients and their representatives in the production of desired quality, completion of projects and agreement on final costs. We are renowned for our non-confrontational proactive approach which is aided by an established core workforce, a long serving management team and a solid relationship with local sub-contractors.
The four serving directors of the company have cumulative 133 years experience of employment with the company.
